About The Event
No Lenses. No Filters.
In a world where everyone has a camera, family visits and work meetings are conducted virtually, and social is media, not meeting in person, there are few things that give us a personal, once in a lifetime experience, something that is never the same thing twice – live performances.
With that in mind, our Artistic Director, Nathan Duvuvuei and Assistant Director Mario Buchanan crafted a program with a wide range of musical experiences. From the opening Sing A Mighty Song that invites “singers awake and arise, lift up your voices” to the strains of Draw the Circle Wide, this concert is a musical journey for all. Our Youth and Children’s choirs will take us to the Insect World and join the adults to create the sounds of a Brazilian rain forest in Tres Cantos Nativos Dos Indios Krao. In Peace Like A River, Let My Love Be Heard, and Voice Dance, the adult chorus and small group will use their voices to create the ebb and flow of life at its best and most difficult. Yet in the same program, the chorus brings some fun and frivolity with Chile Con Carne, a recipe for musical memories. All in all, it’s an experience both audience and singers only get once.
